FM Technical Project Assistant 

Location: Aberdeen

As FM Technical Project Assistant you will form a key role in supporting the prioritisation & readiness of FM activities from all work streams (MCDRs, Project 2023, Shutdowns/Outages, Projects) for handover to the FM Focal Points for execution.  

In the establishment of effective working relationships with Torus and client stakeholders, more efficient and structured packages of work can be handed to asset execution teams for delivery
 

Main Responsibilities

 

OPERATIONS & TECHNICAL 

•    Review & interpretation of any available data (Scopes of Work, Maximo, R2S etc) to establish clear extents of FM requirements (seeking additional information when insufficient detail)
•    Support the planning of workscopes dependant on Maximo target dates, location, SIMOPs and other relevant factors
•    Assist lead engineer in scheduling work to create steady, deliverable plan for platform FM teams identifying any periods where additional resource upman requirements
•    Provide management of change support, ensuring that any change, growth or variations managed via established processes
•    Update IGRIS and provide updates to planning team as appropriate
•    Ensure scope readiness up to & in accordance with 6-week gate (including access, asbestos, isolation & inspection requirements identified, requested)
•    Set-up and maintain communications with key interfaces 
•    Identify opportunities for innovation with access or FM material and plant & equipment solutions
•    Attend kick-off and other meetings as appropriate


COMMERCIAL
•    Prepare CTRs or budget estimates for packages of work where required

Experience & qualifications

 

  • 2 years relevant experience in similar role
  • Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying discipline (Desirable)
