Maintenance Methods & Digital Implementation Engineer

Bilfinger UK has an opportunity for a Maintenance Methods & Digital Implementation Engineer responsible for ensuring the Maintenance techniques we are using on 3 offshore assets are the most suitable, most efficient and safest we could be using. Alongside the technique analysis, the candidate will also ensure where possible the most up to date digital advancements are being implemented for maintenance execution.


Key Activities

  • Carry out regular review of maintenance techniques for all maintenance trades
  • Consider and support the implementation of Condition based maintenance and a reduction of preventative maintenance
  • Consider and support the implementation of Predictive Maintenance
  • Produce CBA of Predictive maintenance and produce detailed plans for implementation of the infrastructure required.
  • Support the Reliability Engineer with analysis of maintenance execution and efficiency and propose improvements to ensure continuous improvement
  • Carry out regular worksite audits at each offshore location
  • Produce Monthly reports on Methods and digital status and next steps for improvement
  • Work with the in house developers to produce digital workflows to replace written work instructions for maintenance which is considered suitable
  • Manage a project to automate the recording of maintenance parameters into the CMMS directly from the work face


Experience & Qualifications

  • E&I Maintenance Execution
  • Management of CMMS
  • Implementation/use of digital products in hazardous Areas
  • HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • E/I Installation qualification
