Position Summary:

 

This position is responsible for the full life-cycle of recruitment including direct sourcing activities, interviewing and negotiating compensation packages. The primary focus is to develop and implement strategies related to staffing. This includes the development of programs to increase diversity as well as establish long term relationships with higher education and industry associations in support of recruiting.This position will work directly with hiring managers to understand the organization’s business goals and determine the next steps in order to integrate recruiting best practices and process improvements to further company goals. This position will have a strong focus on helping Bilfinger to become the employer of choice in its industry. This position is located in Indianapolis, IN.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Attracts top talent and manages all aspects of the recruiting process; both directly and passively.
  • Utilizes candidate relationship management skills to identify, qualify, and screen potential candidates.
  • Collaborates with multiple hiring managers and personnel to evaluate position criteria, determine staffing needs and establish minimum qualifications and skills required for open positions throughout all levels of the organization
  • Updates and tracks recruitment files and prepares and places job advertising across appropriate media
  • Develops and maintains a strong network of contacts to identify and source quality candidates
  • Attends career fairs and networking events developing talent pipeline
  • Plans, organizes, and ensures compliance with policies and programs encompassing employment and / or staffing functions
  • Demonstrates confidence in interactions with individuals of all levels and backgrounds while exhibiting a strong business acumen
  • Possess excellent communication skills and demonstrates a strong track record of placements
  • Must have in-depth knowledge and experience with social media recruiting.
  • Demonstrates a strong drive towards results with the ability to improve productivity and reduce turnover
  • Works to build and implement a diversity recruiting strategy
  • Develops and measures the success of recruitment processes by using various data and reports
  • Demonstrates the ability to establish trust and confidence by maintaining a high level of credibility, integrity, and skilled communication with managers, staff and candidates
  • Utilizes sourcing tools and techniques to identify candidates such as online social networking, traditional networking, Boolean searches, and referrals.
  • Demonstrates proactive efforts and actively engages with hiring managers to provide ongoing status reports on sourcing activities and candidates.

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum 3-5 years of full life cycle recruiting experience
  • Experience recruiting craft is required
  • Ability to fluently speak and write Spanish highly preferred
  • Experience recruiting a variety of professional (staff) positions is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of recruiting systems and job boards required.
  • SAP-Success Factors experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree highly desired
  • SHRM, AIRS, or other relevant certifications desired
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
  • Ability to ensure privacy/confidentiality of all employee information required
  • Must be very organized and detail oriented
  • Able to work independently
  • Must be a team player
