Business Application Manager (m/f/d) 

Location: Mannheim

Operational Excellence is Bilfinger’s newly formed In-house Consultancy supporting our global businesses in operational & financial performance improvement initiatives locally. The BTOP Tool represents the global Bilfinger database for lean management & performance improvement initiatives. It is operated and administered by the department Operational Excellence.




Tool Administration Responsible:

  • Provide BTOP helpdesk support to Bilfinger’s Legal Entities at global scale
  • Create & provide Tool Reports, Good Practice Sharing

Tool Trainer:

  • Perform On-boarding trainings for new BTOP Tool users
  • Perform User Management

Technical tool development interface:

  • Turn management concepts into technical language for IT implementation
  • Develop new Reporting dashboards
  • Develop tool solutions based on Good Practices to fit user friendliness

Manage internal & external stakeholders:

  • Be first point of contact for internal & external stakeholders: Global IT, GET IT (tool-developers & specialists)
  • Get quotes for new tool developments & achieve optimized pricing in coordination with Procurement / G/IT / Management




  • >2 years of relevant experience, preferably at Bilfinger
  • High affinity for IT, complex data sets, financial dashboards & KPI
  • Excellent MS-Excel knowhow (incl. VBA beneficial)
  • Preferably business informatics or informatics
