What does this position entail? 
Our CSA team is cooperating closely with our other disciplines (process, mechanical, piping, pipelines) and our clients to optimize the projects. The task of the CSA team specifically, is to create structures and buildings that not only meet the requirements, but also are flexible to follow the ever changing starting points throughout the engineering process. So we expect of our engineers not only to solve technical challenges in concrete and steel structures and foundations. Also creativity and flexibility is required. For our structural team in Schiedam, we are looking for a Medior Structural Engineer.

Knowledge & Skills 
At least 5 years of experience as structural engineer.

Abilities:

• develop the first concepts of structural designs with help of senior engineers.
• make calculations by hand and with 2D/3D engineering tools independantly.
• make calculation reports independantly.
• coordinate with other structural engineers.
• review calculations of other structural engineers.
• coordinate and check designers.
• coordinate with other disciplines (bringing and getting information).

Preferred:

• Experience in the (petro-) chemical and/or pharmaceutical industry.
• Dutch speaking.
