Door Maintenance & Habitats Lead Engineer 

Location: Aberdeen

Will be the company focal point for all door maintenance and pressurised habitat activities across existing contracts 
and for new enquiries for external customers. The main duties will be the work scope preparation and overseeing 
the execution of all work scopes across all projects. This includes offshore surveys; project engineering and 
offshore works management where required.

 

 Attend client and project team project kick-off meetings 
 Produce and ensure that CTRs, project estimates, work scopes and work packs are completed in a timely 
manner 
 Produce and maintain door maintenance trackers for each site where work is being conducted 
 Oversee the planning of specific work scopes 
 Raise all work orders / job cards for site activities 
 Manage all execution activities including those of sub-contractors 
 Plan operations in conjunction with client representatives 
 Issue progress reports to clients on a regular basis 
 Manage and monitor the selection and requisition of all plant, equipment and materials 
 Communicate the progress, variations and costs of work scopes to the client / company management and 
seek out improvements and efficiencies 
 Inform the Operations Director on identified business opportunities and support the development of these 
opportunities. 
 Develop and maintain strong relationship with customers for future business growth 
 Understand the company safety policy requirements, ensuring at all times the works are undertaken and 
maintained to the highest safety standards 
 Ensure that all operations are reviewed and planned to ensure compliance with company and legislative 
requirements 
 Promote safe working practices and safety awareness through implementation of the HSEQ plan, safety 
campaigns, safety meetings and briefings 
 Maintain all related management system documentation though the company BMS system 

 

HSEQ Responsibilities 
It is mandatory that the incumbent is familiar with and follows the Company's Policy for Health, Safety, Environment 
and Quality and takes an active part in the compliance and improvement of the Management Systems to maintain 
our system certification. The incumbent must report any accidents, incidents, near misses, actual or potential 
problems with products, services or systems to the HSEQ Department Manager. 
  
The incumbent also has legal responsibilities under country-specific health and safety legislation to follow all 
Company policies, procedures, guidelines, control measures, signage and permit conditions and to know what to do 
in an emergency.  The incumbent is also responsible for the health and safety arrangements of subordinates (if 
any) and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises.
