This role is a temporary, full‑time position on a six‑month contract, working Monday through Thursday. It is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of all campaign fabric‑maintenance access work scopes, ensuring they are effectively executed and monitored, and that all Client and Company operational, commercial, and HSEQ expectations and targets are met.

 

Main Responsibilities

The Project Engineer is directly responsible to their assigned Operations Manager or Project Manager and the role will require but not be limited to the following

 

COMMERCIAL


•    Plan and monitor the contract budgets and costs
•    Communicate progress, variations and costs of the contract to the customer and company management 
•    Ensure that CTR’s and project estimates are completed in a timely manner when requested by the client
•    Review invoices prior to submission in a timely manner
•    Manage and monitor the selection and requisition of all plant, equipment and materials on the Projects


CUSTOMER 


•     Plan, and monitor the requisition and expedition of all personnel requirements (including subcontractor services) for all project and shutdown related work scopes 
•     Communicate progress of operations through liaison with clients on a regular basis
•     Ensure that all client expectations are delivered


OPS & TECHNICAL 


•    Good working knowledge of core disciplines i.e. Scaffolding, painting, insulation, Passive Fire Protection
•    Appreciation of specialist disciplines i.e. LSA, Cleaning, Architectural, abseiling etc
•    Oversee the planning and implementation of the contract and specific work scopes/activities
•    Communicate team goals and promote high standards of workmanship and customer service
•    Particular attention to timesheet accuracy and approvals
•    Communicate progress and any operational difficulties and commercial implications to the customer
•    Ensure coordination of shipments to worksite through logistics department
•    Provide technical support to onshore teams across all disciplines


Experience & Qualifications


•    Recognised trade qualification in Coatings, Insulation or Scaffolding
•    Proven track record in a similar role
•    Experience in fast paced, high workload environment
•    Industry Knowledge 
•    Experience within a similar or supervisory role 
•    Good knowledge of Access, Insulation and Coating trades
•    SAP Competent.
