The NDT Support Technician will provide hands‑on operational and field support across the NDT Technical Department, Advanced NDT operations, and general NDT operations teams, contributing to the effective delivery of onsite inspection activities. The role focuses on supporting fieldwork as a scanner technician or field assistant, alongside maintaining, preparing, and mobilising equipment to ensure operational readiness and efficiency. In addition, the technician will support R&D tasks, training activities, and wider departmental initiatives to enhance continuous improvement and overall performance across all NDT workstreams.
- Provide day‑to‑day operational support across the NDT Technical Department, Advanced NDT operations, and general NDT operations teams.
- Support NDT and Advanced NDT field work as a scanner technician or field assistant, where and when required, under the direction of qualified personnel.
- Support mobilisation and demobilisation of NDT and ANDT equipment for onshore and offshore projects.
- Assist with stores coordination, including stock control, consumable management, and preparation of equipment packs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by helping enhance stores, equipment workflows, and general operational processes.
- Support the technical team with R&D work, including setups, test piece preparation, and basic data collection under supervision.
- Assist with internal and external training activities by preparing equipment, training materials, and demonstration setups.
- Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning, and functional checks on NDT/ANDT equipment to ensure readiness
