MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that a safe working environment is achieved and maintained at all times through full compliance with legislative and company health and safety requirements.
- To safely and efficiently load and unload containers.
- Ensure that all RA backload is booked in and manifested according to procedure and stored correctly in quarantine.
- Safe and efficient disposal of defect equipment as stated in procedure.
- To safely and effectively clean and prepare rope access equipment, including use of abrasive wheel and industrial washer.
- The safe movement of equipment utilising manual handling techniques and or fork forklift when required.
- Liaise with rope access Focal point on a daily basis to clarify requirements and prioritise tasks as necessary.
- To support the control of the rope access yard and warehouse activities.
- To provide general labouring / yard and warehousing support to the rope access dept.
- To ensure effective communications are achieved with internal customers and relationships are built to deliver customer satisfaction. Any other duties as designated by Line Manager.
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role
- Forklift licence
