Senior Supervisor - Brae Field (m/f/d)

Location: Aberdeen

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Supervisor ona temporary basis for 3 months.

 

When appointed Bilfinger Salamis’ offshore Senior Supervisor, you will be responsible for the oversight for the overall delivery of all front-line management and supervisory associated with Rigging, deck, Scaffolding, Fabric maintenance and inspection services.

You will ensure the safe, efficient and effective execution of all offshore work scopes against all regulatory, company and client procedures, processes and laws. You will ensure that all key interfaces between Bilfinger Salamis and Client’s offshore management are developed and maintained to encourage effective working relationships and to provide efficient, cost effective support for all platform services, ensuring compliance with competency and training requirements. Deliver all aspects of the Brae 2021 safety improvement plan

As the Bilfinger Salamis Snr supervisor, you will be required to provide assistance to all TAQA platform management and Bilfinger supervision with the below mentioned tasks. 

 

  • Coach and mentor all Bilfinger Salamis personnel in relevant HSEQ and operational processes and procedures associated with the tasks. This will include Rigging, deck, Scaffolding, Fabric maintenance and inspection services.
  • Effectively organise and ensure planning of all Bilfinger Salamis activities are completed in the most effective manner, ensuring that all risks are identified and minimised to ALARP.
  • Ensuring all safe working practices, behaviours and expectations are promoted in lines the TAQA and Bilfinger Salamis’s safety cultures.
  • Ensure that all work scopes are executed and recorded in accordance with legislation, client and company procedures.
  • Assist as required with the delivery of the contract annual HSEQ Plan.
  • Fully support all client and company initiatives (LOFEO, Intelligent safety, mates in mind, line of fire)
  • Conduct and ensure regular worksite audits / visits and checks are completed for Bilfinger Salamis activities.
  • Ensure all site workforce meet the requirements of client and company HSEQ responsibilities and expectations
  • Support Bilfinger supervision and Client management as required.
  • Align the service team’s goals to Client/Bilfinger Salamis business drivers, and manage the team(s) accordingly.
  • Record and communicate operational difficulties, ensuring that solutions are found and implemented as required.
  • Liaise with platform management on a regular basis to  ensure that our work scopes are planned efficiently in line with the client’s 90/28 day plans to meet offshore delivery.
  • Review current working practices with a view to introducing change where required in line with Bilfinger philosophies.
  • Liaise with onshore project manager and client on a regular basis to update on progress of any activities undertaken
  • Proactively identify and rectify any operational shortfalls in process, procedures and resources on board asset.
  • With the assistance of Bilfinger platform  supervision carryout 1st trip assessments on all personnel new  to installation
  • Promote the highest standard of workmanship from the teams by ensuring personnel follow all processes and procedures.
  • Ensure that the most efficient utilisation of all plant, equipment and materials results in meeting our performance targets.
  • Ensure that all customer enquiries and demands are followed up and that any anticipated shortfalls are promptly identified.
  • Ensure that all reports and paperwork are completed as per client and company processes and procedures

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • All general offshore certificates
  • Strong knowledge of all FM services e.g. Rigging, Scaffolding, deck and FABM services
  • Rope Access awareness
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong PC skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office required, primarily Excel.
