Bilfinger Industrial Services Inc. is known as a leading one stop shop provider for complex industrial services is seeking a Project Controls Engineer at our Alexandria, LA Site location. This position requires a self- motivated individual to develop and execute project control plan for cost and schedule, perform quality assurance on cost and schedule control procedures, and monitor/collect costs and schedule data to ensure conformity with corporate policy. Track and monitor project changes for cost and schedule implications, keep team informed on cost and schedule related issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with the Project Team to establish the construction cost control plan and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to support project requirements, including direct costs, procurement, engineering, construction, start up and risk accounts.
• Monitor and report budgeted and installed quantities and cost, as received from planning and construction project team members. Compare these to the original scope, budget, and plan. Forecast remaining performance and cost at completion.
• Produce and maintain project and site schedules, integrating procurement, engineering and construction information and activities.
• Provide regular reports to the Project Team on the status of the project execution through the use of tables, graphs and gap analysis.
• Provide reports to analyze a project’s cost and schedule based upon schedule of values, spending curve, or other financial measures, as required for the specific company and client needs.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate must possess a BS in Engineering, Construction Management or 5 years equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management and organizational skills are required.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Scheduling Software-Primavera P3/P6/Sure Track or MS Project is preferred.
