Materials Engineer (Roads & Bridges)

Experience: 12–15 Years

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

  • UAE Equivalency Certificate (mandatory)

Experience & Skills:

  • Strong experience in Roads & Bridges projects, preferably under Al Ain Municipality or similar UAE authorities

  • Well-versed in UAE standards and specifications for civil works

  • Proven capability in material inspection for bridge and road construction works

  • Experienced in reviewing and approving material submittals

  • Proficient in uploading and tracking submissions through Smart Hub / Municipality portals

  • Competent in preparing Material Suitability Reports and technical evaluations

  • Ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure compliance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and verify construction materials for Roads & Bridges projects

  • Review material submittals for compliance with project specifications and standards

  • Prepare and submit Material Suitability Reports for approval

  • Manage material approvals through Smart Hub

  • Ensure all materials used meet Al Ain Municipality and project requirements

  • Support quality control and site supervision teams as required
