JOB DESCRIPTION

DESIGNATION: PIPING ENGINEER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform piping engineering services such as:

• Piping calculations like pipe wall thickness, Stress analysis etc.
• Specifications, datasheets and material requisitions for piping items
• Piping material take-off and speciality item list.
• Technical bid evaluation and prepare technical clarifications for vendor
• Line list and tie-in list

• Communicate effectively with the designers / engineers / project team.
• Ensure that completion of assigned work on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree of Mechanical / Piping or Petroleum Engineering from any reputed University.
• Minimum Experience of 6-8 years in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and/or Refineries Industries
• Competent user of MS-Office applications.
• Familiarity with internationally recognized engineering standards such as API, ANSI and ASME
• Good Understanding on Plant and Piping layout.
• Hands on experience of Piping engineering design deliverables and calculations
• Flexible attitude, team player, with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Required input and support to other disciplines such as Process, Civil, instrumentation, mechanical, electrical and HSE
• Hands on 3D model review files in Navisworks software
