Resident Engineer (Electrical)

Your job

As a Resident Engineer (Electrical) you direct a team of site engineers, inspectors, and administrative support staff to supervise and manage the Contractor for primary substations. You will be taking account of the demands in the specifications as laid down by the client and design engineers, the deadlines, the budget, legislation and regulations, QHSE standards, the Quality System Policy, and the rules of the company's guidelines and manuals. You manage the detailed design, procurement, and work execution, deliver the work according to the contractual agreements and transfer it to the client and stakeholders.

You meet the following requirements:

1. You have at least a bachelor's degree
2. You have 12 years of relevant working experience.
3. You have demonstrated the capability to supervise and manage the installation, construction, and handover stages of a 33kV primary substation project.
4. You are capable of monitoring and controlling compliance with contract requirements through the site team.
5. You are capable of handling the contractor’s claims and variations.
6. You are capable of closing out and handing over the project safely and as per stakeholder requirements.
7. You are capable of leading a site supervision team
8. You have multidisciplinary technical knowledge
9. You are flexible and ready to work from construction site locations throughout UAE
