Job Description For:

Electrical Engineer

Bilfinger Tebodin Middle East (Bahrain)

 Responsibilities:-

• Prepare electrical calculations (for distribution boards, junction boxes, lighting system, cables, grounding , and lightning installation) and detailed calculation notes;
• Use computer-aided design(CAD) software for 2D drafting and 3D modelling
• Elaboration of diagrams for constructions: key single line diagram, single line diagram, control circuit diagram, connection and wiring diagram
• Elaboration of layouts for constructions : power, lighting , cable trays, grounding and lighting, sections and others);
• Elaboration of datasheets and equipment specification
• Elaborate details for execution and technical design reports and specifications for construction works
• Preparation of bill of quantities
• Technical support during construction works
• Attendance to internal project review meetings
• Liaise with architects and other designers, to agree on safe designs and their fit with the concept of the construction;
• Attend meetings with clients together with PM
• Report progress on project activities to PM
• Estimate duration, propose and agree on deadlines with PM for allocated design activities
• Perform department internal quality checks for documents prepared by other engineers or subcontractors
• Close cooperation with another disciplines & team leader

Required Skills/Abilities:

• BE/BSc in Electrical Engineering (preferred to have CRPEP license)
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in electrical engineering design & supervision, industrial, infra, oil & gas projects.
• To be dynamic personnel, must be ready to adapt to new environments and multi working culture
• Knowledge of most of the concepts, practices and procedures within the electrical constructions field
• Very good knowledge in civil/industrial buildings and equipment design
• Good knowledge of using electrical calculation software, Ecodial, Simaris or similar
• Good knowledge of using Dialux for lighting calculation
• Good Revit and AutoCAD skills
• Abilities in using Microsoft Office package
• Experience in International standards and norms
• Fluent in English
