We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer (Automation background) to manage the automation related scope for GDN Gas Dispatching System project.

This role is responsible for overseeing automation, SCADA/RTU/PLC integration, dispatch application modules, field instrumentation, and the establishment of new Dispatch Centres in the GDN.

He will serve as the single point of accountability ensuring smooth coordination across vendors, engineering disciplines, operations, IT/OT security, commercial teams, and EPC partners.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Execution

• Lead the full lifecycle: FEED → detailed engineering → procurement → implementation → FAT/SAT → commissioning → handover.
• Deliver all modules including real‑time monitoring, nomination management, demand forecasting, priority‑based allocation, curtailment logic, LNG scheduling, and GIS/pipeline surveillance.

Internal Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with internal teams: SCADA, Controls, Instrumentation, IT/OT, Commercial, Operations, Planning.
• Align technical requirements with operational needs and owner department expectations.
• Facilitate cross‑discipline reviews and technical approvals.

Vendor & EPC Coordination

• Manage automation vendors, dispatch system suppliers, and EPC teams executing field automation upgrades.
• Drive interface management, technical clarifications, system architecture reviews, and integration testing.

Systems Integration Leadership

• Oversee SCADA–RTU–PLC–PI–Dispatch Application–ERP integration.
• Validate cybersecurity, data integrity, and system reliability.
• Approve ICDs, system workflows, and data mapping as per project needs.

Quality, Compliance & Risk

• Ensure compliance with OT cybersecurity requirements and engineering standards.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies in line with GDN project challenges.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Control / Instrumentation Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 12–18 years’ experience in automation & control systems, SCADA/RTU/PLC integration, or gas/power dispatching systems.
• Proven experience delivering large multi‑vendor, multidiscipline industrial automation projects.
• Strong technical leadership and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Expertise in industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, DNP3, MQTT).
• Experience in OT cybersecurity preferred.
