Job Description For:

Project Manager (Civil )

Bilfinger Tebodin Middle East (Bahrain)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Civil projects within multi-discipline engineering, EPCM or EPC
• These projects will range across the full lifecycle from concept to commissioning, in both green and brownfield applications
• The projects will vary in complexity and size, delivered for all the major sectors (Oil & Gas, Industrial, Buildings, Water & Wastewater treatment plants, Chemicals, Petrochemicals )
• Responsible to complete the Civil and Structural Engineering and Design as set out in the Project Scope
• Delivering the Civil and Structural design within budget and planning. This includes change control and consistency of the Process design with the other disciplines
• Responsible for the quality of the Civil and Structural Engineering
• Participate in internal and external design reviews and handle different portfolio of projects
• Be able to deliver projects in a multi-discipline environment and be capable of coordinating all Civil and Structural Engineering, with the other disciplines, EC&I, Mechanical and Piping, Process and Automation

Education and Experience:

• Previous experience as Project Manager (Civil/Structural ), in single and multi-discipline projects, in an Engineering / EPCM / EPC company, in one of the above mentioned sectors
• Good knowledge of Civil and Structural engineering and design
• MEng / BEng / HNC / HND in Civil and Structural Engineering
• Experienced with the main C&S design packages including , AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, Staad Pro, Tedds and all Microsoft office packages
• You understand the dependencies of the engineering activities within the mechanical discipline, but also the dependencies between mechanical and the other disciplines. You have a ‘one time right’ mentality
• Project management and business skills
• Minimum 12 years of experience in related field.
