Job Title: Piping Design Engineer 
Location: Qatar 
Experience: 2–3+ Years 
Industry: Oil & Gas (Onshore – FEED & Detailed Design) 

Job Summary 
We are looking for a motivated Piping Design Engineer with 2–3+ years of experience in FEED and detailed design for onshore oil & gas projects. The candidate will support piping design activities including 3D modeling, layout development, and preparation of engineering deliverables in compliance with project standards and client requirements. 

Key Responsibilities 
• Assist in developing piping layouts and 3D models using PDMS / E3D / SP3D 
• Prepare piping isometrics, GA drawings, and detailed design deliverables 
• Support FEED and detailed engineering activities 
• Interpret P&IDs and implement design requirements in models 
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Process) 
• Perform basic piping routing and layout checks 
• Support clash detection and model reviews using Navisworks 
• Prepare MTO (Material Take-Off) under supervision 
• Incorporate vendor data into design models 
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards 

Software Requirements 
• PDMS / E3D / SP3D (any one preferred) 
• AutoCAD 
• Navisworks (basic knowledge preferred) 

Qualification 
• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field 

Experience Requirements 
• 2–3+ years of experience in piping design 
• Exposure to FEED and/or Detailed Design projects 
• Onshore oil & gas experience preferred 
• GCC / Qatar project exposure is an advantage 

Skills & Competencies 
• Basic understanding of piping layout and design principles 
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and engineering drawings 
• Good coordination and communication skills 
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced project environment 
• Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
