Job Title: Piping Designer 
Location: Qatar 
Experience: 5+ Years 
Industry: Oil & Gas (Onshore – FEED & Detailed Design) 

Job Summary 
We are looking for a skilled Piping Designer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in FEED and detailed design for onshore oil & gas projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing 3D models, piping layouts, and detailed drawings in line with project specifications and international standards. 

Key Responsibilities 
• Develop 3D piping models using PDMS / E3D / SP3D 
• Prepare piping layouts, GA drawings, and isometric drawings 
• Perform equipment modeling and piping routing based on P&IDs 
• Ensure proper layout, accessibility, and constructability of piping systems 
• Conduct clash checks and model coordination using Navisworks or similar tools 
• Extract MTO (Material Take-Off) from 3D models 
• Coordinate with piping stress, mechanical, civil, and electrical disciplines 
• Incorporate vendor data and ensure accurate model integration 
• Support FEED and detailed engineering deliverables 
• Participate in model reviews and design review meetings 

Software Requirements 
• PDMS / E3D / SP3D (mandatory – any one) 
• AutoCAD 
• Navisworks (preferred) 

Qualification 
• Diploma / bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field 

Experience Requirements 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in piping design 
• Experience in FEED and Detailed Design projects 
• Onshore oil & gas project experience 
• GCC / Qatar project experience preferred 

Skills & Competencies 
• Strong knowledge of piping layout and design practices 
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and engineering drawings 
• Good coordination and communication skills 
• Attention to detail and quality-focused approach 
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
