The Quality Engineer is responsible for the implementation, control, and assurance of quality processes across construction activities on a nuclear project. The role ensures that all works are delivered in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications, maintaining full traceability from material receipt through to final handover documentation.Operating within a highly regulated environment, the Quality Engineer provides governance over documentation, supports technical interpretation of requirements, and ensures that quality records accurately reflect the as-built condition of the works

Implement and maintain quality processes in line with RCC-M, EN ISO 3834-2, and project-specific specifications. Provide oversight of quality compliance across fabrication, installation, and testing activities. Conduct audits, surveillance, and process reviews to ensure adherence to approved procedures. Documentation Control & Traceability Manage and control QA documentation including:
FUD & Work Pack Integration Lead the preparation, review, and issue of FUDs, ensuring:
Non-Conformance Management Administer the NCR process end-to-end:
Technical Support & Interpretation
Interface & Coordination
Health, Safety & Culture
Any other reasonable tasks as requested by the line manager |
