Job Description – Civil & Structural Design Engineer (FEED & Detailed Design)

Experience: 8–10 Years
Location: Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Industry: Engineering Consultancy / Oil & Gas / Industrial Projects

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Civil & Structural Design Engineer with strong FEED and Detailed Design exposure from an engineering consultancy background. The role involves delivering complete civil and structural engineering design packages for oil & gas, industrial, and infrastructure projects in compliance with Saudi Aramco and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare FEED and Detailed Design deliverables for civil & structural works

• Design and analysis of RC and steel structures (buildings, pipe racks, equipment foundations)

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for foundations, buildings, and industrial structures

• Prepare GA drawings, formwork & reinforcement drawings, and structural details

• Develop design basis, calculation reports, and technical documents

• Review vendor drawings and provide technical comments

• Ensure compliance with ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocode, and Saudi Aramco standards

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping)

• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, and constructability reviews

• Provide engineering support during construction and site queries as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• 8–10 years of experience in engineering consultancy

• Strong exposure to FEED & Detailed Design projects

• Experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Industrial / Infrastructure projects

• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco / SABIC / SEC standards (preferred)

• Proficiency in STAAD Pro / ETABS / SAFE / SAP2000

• Strong skills in AutoCAD (Revit experience is an advantage)

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working on Middle East / KSA projects

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong coordination and documentation skills

• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
