Job Description – Senior Project Engineer (FEED & Detailed Design)

Experience: 8–10 Years
Location: Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Industry: Engineering Consultancy / Oil & Gas / Industrial Projects

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer with solid FEED and Detailed Design experience from an engineering consultancy background. The candidate will support the Project Manager in coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering activities and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of engineering design packages for oil & gas and industrial projects in line with Saudi Aramco and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate FEED and Detailed Design engineering activities across all disciplines

• Act as the main interface between client, project management, and engineering teams

• Support preparation and control of engineering schedules, man-hour estimates, and progress reports

• Ensure engineering deliverables meet project scope, quality, and schedule requirements

• Review discipline deliverables and ensure inter-discipline consistency

• Manage design changes, technical queries, and client comments resolution

• Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and project review meetings

• Support procurement by reviewing technical bid evaluations and vendor documents

• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and international engineering standards

• Assist during construction and commissioning phases as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Instrumentation)

• 8–10 years of experience in engineering consultancy

• Strong exposure to FEED & Detailed Design projects

• Experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Industrial projects

• Prior involvement in multi-disciplinary engineering coordination

• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and procedures (preferred)

Preferred Skills

• Strong coordination, planning, and interface management skills

• Ability to work independently and support the Project Manager

• Good understanding of engineering work processes and deliverables

• Proficiency in engineering planning and reporting tools (Primavera / MS Project is an advantage)

• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
