Bilfinger UK are looking for General Operatives to start on Hinkley Point C to support the Welding team 

• Immediate start available pending clearence 
• Permanent position 
• 10/4 rotation 
• 10 hour days

• Experience
•  Specifically been a Mechanical mate / Assisting Pipefitter and welders/Welder/Fitters mate  
•  Ideally Experience in setting up of welding equipme
• Setting up MMA,TIG and MIG  weld sets in all area’s
•  Running Argon Hose from banks to the job.
•  Assisting the welder in making dams and setting purge’s for stainless steel butts.
•  Making up Argon hose’s.
• Setting up Regulators and Flow meters.
• Setting up 110v and 415v power cables.
• Turning off Argon banks at the end of the shift.
• Fire watch duties when needed.
• Sheeting out habitats for the welder’s
• Getting Propane bottles to the job and make sure they are locked in the cage at the end of the shift.
• Setting up LEVS for each weld.
• Checking that all equipment is PAT tested and Calibrated.
• Identifying to the supervisor when Equipment/Gas/ is running low.
