The Role:
To ensure accurate worked hours and absences are recorded in a timely manner in support of site operations and to provide accurate data to payroll in support of ensuring employees are paid on time and in full. 


▪ On a weekly basis, timewriters must enter accurate worked hours and absences into the system. 
▪ Review and chase missing sheets of personnel in timewriters team. 
▪ Counter sign BUK timesheet to evidence Agency timesheet has been entered correctly. This timesheet will be attached to the Agencies invoice to process payment. 
▪ Complete relevant section of onboarding, offboarding, transfer checklists and submit as soon as possible but by no later than 2:00pm each Friday to HR.
▪ Hours recorded to job numbers, authorized absence and holidays are to be recorded for both agency workers and direct employees on a weekly basis. 
▪ Absences report must both be time written for and notified to the HR Department by email. This includes forwarding copies of self- certification forms, Doctor’s notes and other absence forms. 
▪ All data entries are to be completed by no later than 2.00pm each Friday (or as varied by payroll on such occasions as Public Holidays etc.). 
▪ It is best practice to have all timesheets collated by Friday morning to reduce the risk of missed deadlines. 
▪ Where a deadline has been missed or an amendment to that weekly submission is needed, time writers must do this by noon on the following Tuesday in order for it to be included in that week’s payroll. 
▪ Any missed deadlines or amendments are to be recorded by the timewriter and statistics issued on a weekly basis to show number of people timewritten, missed deadlines if applicable and amendments made. 

 

Experience & Skills: 

▪ Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work. 
▪ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
▪ Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. 

▪ Good computer skills and experience delivering results and meeting client expectations (essential)
