As Manager Group Communications (m/f/d) for internal communication you are part of Group Communications & Public Affairs and will be the driving force behind the successful dissemination of information within our company. You ensure that our employees are not only informed but also inspired and motivated – whether in the office, at customer sites, or in Bilfinger workshops worldwide.

 

Your Tasks:

 

  • Strategic Communication: Development and implementation of communication strategies for internal target groups.
  • Content Creation: Creation of creative and target group-specific content (especially texts, videos, graphics) for internal channels such as intranet, newsletters, and employee app (Staffbase).
  • Storytelling: Translation of complex topics into engaging stories that inspire and inform employees.
  • Tool Management: Use of modern communication and collaboration tools like Canvas and Nuwacom to make content interactive and dynamic.
  • Support with the concept, content, and implementation of intranet harmonizationResearch and Collaboration: Conducting research and exchanging ideas with internal stakeholders to develop concepts for internal communication.
  • Feedback and Optimization: Analyzing the impact of communication measures and continuously improving internal communication processes.
  • Development of Ideas and Concepts: Creating ideas and concepts for the use of digital visual media within the context of the company’s internal communication strategy.
  • Close Collaboration: Working closely with the international leadership team, HR department, and other departments to ensure communication is tailored, relevant, and addresses key employee concerns.
  • Leadership Communication Support: Supporting leadership communication by developing materials and enabling leaders to share important information with their teams, particularly regarding strategy implementation and organizational changes.
  • Coordination of Internal Communication Teams: Aligning and coordinating with our international  communication colleagues to ensure consistent messaging worldwide.
  • Budget Planning and Vendor Management: Planning budgets, coordinating, and managing external service providers.

 

Our Requirements:

 

  • Completed university or master's degree, preferably with a focus on communication sciences
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in corporate communication
  • Extensive editorial skills from practical experience in journalism, agency, or company, ideally in a B2B or industrial environment
  • Technical affinity and experience with content management systems such as Staffbase and TYPO3 are advantageous
  • Enjoy identifying, researching, formulating, and preparing complex topics
  • Experience in independently planning, developing, and managing complex communication projects
  • Strategic communication understanding
  • Independent project implementation and willingness to take responsibility and shape
  • Professional and confident handling of internal and external stakeholders at various hierarchical levels
  • High level of commitment, reliability, and resilience
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Fluent in German & English, both written and spoken
