Key Responsibilities:  

  • Assistance in the analysis of core business processes such as procurement, finance and HR
  • Participation in meetings and capturing the requirements
  • Support in data collection and analysis to identify process improvements and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Preparing and designing effective PowerPoint presentations and Excel Matrixes with Dashboards for internal stakeholders
  • Process documentation and creation of strategic management presentations
  • Supporting the department leadership with organizational responsibilities, such as agenda management and the development of concept and communication materials

 

Performance-Oriented Goals

During the 6‑month assignment, the following milestones are expected:

  • Weeks 1–3: Successful integration into the team as well as familiarization with processes, tools, and workflows
  • After 1 month: Ability to reliably support administrative and business-related tasks and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • After 2 months: Proactive ownership of assigned tasks, early identification of team needs, and active contribution to performance optimization
  • After 3 months: Independent management of onboarding for new working students, execution of structured trainings, and ensuring high‑quality onboarding
  • Overall objective: To act as a trusted right hand to the department leadership within 1–2 months, taking on strategic and administrative responsibilities to enhance the overall performance of the Shared Services organization

 

Skills and Qualifications:  

  • Ideally you are enrolled in a business degree program (e.g. finance, accounting, business administration or similar)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Highly confident, motivated and open minded with teamwork spirit
  • A structured and detailed way of working with high degree of independence and reliability
  • Good written and spoken English, German is a plus
  • You are enrolled in a degree program for at least 6 more months
  • Ideally, you are available to work 20 hours per week
  • Work experience in international corporate functions is mandatory
  • A proactive mindset and experience collaborating with senior leadership, with the ability to anticipate needs early and provide strategic support
  • Willingness to work on-site at the Mannheim office
  • A valid work permit for Germany is required
