The SME Compensation & Benefits is responsible for the design, governance, and delivery of competitive, compliant, and transparent compensation & benefits frameworks across the Segment Central Europe. The SME acts as a strategic advisor to HR and business leaders, ensuring alignment with global standards and local market needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement reward strategy within the Segment Central Europe aligned with global frameworks and Group standards
- Collaborate with Group Compensation & Benefits to establish governance standards within the segment for job evaluation, grading, salary structures, and incentive design and share segment insights
- Conduct market benchmarking and job evaluations (e.g., WTW)
- Coordinates annual salary reviews, bonus cycles, and incentive programs
- Manage and optimize benefits programs and vendor landscape
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and business leaders on all compensation-related matters
- Equip HR Business Partners, HR Advisors with tools, training, and guidance and ensure consistent implementation of reward processes across all countries
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies
- Monitor KPIs (e.g., pay equity, gender pay gap) and provide dashboards and reporting to HR leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, HR, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits
- Strong expertise in job architecture, grading, and benchmarking
- Experience with HR systems (ideally SuccessFactors)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional initiatives in international environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and consulting capabilities
- Fluent in English and German is a must
