Your role will involve:

  • Specification, calculation and design of assemblies and systems in the fields of superconductivity, cryogenics and vacuum technology
  • Overseeing the manufacturing, commissioning and testing phases
  • Procurement of subsystems, components and tools
  • Preparation of documentation and project files
  • Management of complex international high-tech projects as part of a project team
  • Reporting to project and departmental management
  • Technical coordination and communication with clients, project partners and suppliers

 

What you bring to the role:

  • a degree in a technical subject, ideally in physics, process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable discipline
  • at least 10 years’ professional experience
  • experience in the field of superconductivity, cryogenics and vacuum technology
  • ideally, experience in the field of magnetic technology
  • proficiency in using simulation software
  • strong analytical skills and an affinity for technology
  • Experience in project management
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Strong communication skills, exemplary commitment, willingness to travel, high flexibility, resilience and motivation, as well as strong interpersonal skills and team spirit
