  • Managing Site works safely, ensuring that all EHS&Q  requirements are met in all phases
  • Managing Site works – Plant breakdowns/callouts, maintenance and Projects to scope, schedule, cost and quality
  • Ensuring the Site works are properly commercially managed – profit margin, cash flow/invoicing, customer approvals
  • Managing the performance of key suppliers and subcontractors ensuring appropriate commercial arrangements are applied.
  • Ownership of the baseline schedule and control estimate, ensuring it is kept upto date with agreed changes 
  • Ownership of site works progress reporting including the % complete, reported actuals, forecast AFC, Earned Value and agreed changes.
  • Build effective Site teams and manage resources ensuring that adequate levels are maintained to ensure the schedule is met and high workforce productivity is maintained throughout
  • Ensuring adequate Site controls are employed for risk management and change control
  • Ensuring company quality systems are effectively applied throughout the project
  • Act as the main interface with the Customer ensuring high levels of satisfaction maintained
  • Actively participate in budget /cost/ resource forecasting to ensure growth and profitability


Experience and Qualifications

  • Strong leadership & influencing skills
  • Supply fabrication and Installation of GRP Pipe work and Vessels with a knowledge of BS 7159 and BS 4994
  • Supply fabrication and Installation of GRE Pipe work ISO14692
  • Supply fabrication and Installation of Thermo-Plastic Pipe work and vessels
  • Delivering engineering projects on operating COMAH plants/brownfield sites
  • Extensive experience of delivering engineering projects in a process related industry
  • Direct management of a full multidiscipline project team
  • Managing subcontractors e.g. demolition, fabrication, civil works
  • Managing Customer interface and relationship
  • Commercial awareness and contract management
  • Excellent knowledge of managing all main project phases i.e. front end, detailed design, construction & commissioning phases
