Multi-Discipline QA/QC Lead 

Location: Ayrshire

Perform a wide range of QA / QC Engineering tasks to include but not limited to the following: 

 

  • Support existing, strong workshop HSE Culture. 
  • Prepare and review Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans and supporting QA documentation in accordance with Bilfinger and Client procedures. 
  • Provide Quality related technical support for projects, Turnarounds and maintenance when required. 
  • Have a good understanding of mechanical, welding, coatings, insulation, electrical QC and completion requirements
  • Install and Manage a completions system to cover all mechanical, SIPS and E&I works undertaken on the site
  • Review vendor/supplier Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans. 
  • Liaise with the appropriate stakeholders to ensure submission of documentation is completed in a timely manner in accordance with the client schedules.
  • Lead the QA/QC in a collaborative manner with the client to identify potential opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate and lead all fabrication requests to ensure they are completed in line with the client schedule.
  • Co-ordinate and advise guidance on material certification, welding, NDT and other quality requirements. 
  • Ensure all quality documentation/records are maintained within the Company’s Business Management System (BMS). 
  • Ensure quality performance monitoring is maintained and reviewed accordingly against KPIs. 
  • Contribute to the improvement and technical capabilities of the Company.
  • Support the superintendents with material requisitions and procurement activities
  • Support site Turnarounds and projects through extended working hours when required.
  • Support supervision and superintendents through HSE Site Safety Tours, and be an active mentor in leading a positive safety culture on site through the required weekly audits.
