Lead/Senior EC&I Project Engineer (PUMA) 

Location: Hull

The Role & Responsibilities:

  • You will lead Discipline Engineering activities within single or multi-discipline engineering, EPCM or EPC projects for the chemical and petrochemical industry.
  • You will support Bilfinger procurement team in translating detailed design packages into procurement packages.
  • Liaise with client engineering team to develop packages of work.
  • Undertake technical bid evaluations.
  • Work with suppliers to develop technical queries to the client.
  • Represent Bilfinger in meetings with stakeholders.
  • Work with site teams to undertake delivery.

 

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer, in multi-discipline projects, in an Engineering / EPCM / EPC company, in relevant sector(s)
  • Good knowledge of project engineering and site interfaces
  • HND / BSc / BEng / MSc in EC&I Engineering
  • You are able to lead on multiple packages of work.
  • Result oriented, you will take personal accountability for results and monitor performance against project delivery objectives and UK/European Standards & Regulations
  • Able to collaborate successfully with others in pursuit of business goals, adapting quickly to different styles and roles, and encouraging others to contribute to their full potential
  • Able to identify any impact to the project delivery objectives and apply change management accordingly
  • Strive to continuous improvement, generating new ideas for improving performance
  • You are a champion for safety and can author and approve RAMS
