Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse existing manufacturing and fabrication processes to identify areas for optimisation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate proposed process improvements.
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime and maximize production output.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and technical specifications.
  • Provide technical support and training to ensure successful implementation of process improvements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate new equipment and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to health, safety, and environmental protection.

 

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Computer literate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to optimize complex systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is preferred but not required.
