E&I Lead Supervisor
Location: Middlesbrough

Duties included within this role, but not limited to the following (Additional tasks may be given to the Lead Supervisor at the discretion of the Site Manager, if deemed
appropriate):
- Serve as the focal point for the day to day Work delivery activities:
- Key client stakeholder interaction – Daily updating / Meetings / Operational & Engineering engagement
- Internal Bilfinger Interaction – Planning / Preparation / Delivery to ensure smooth delivery of scheduled work and keeping rework to a minimum
- Management of change – Highlight and coordinate any issues affecting schedule delivery – Raise and monitor CVI’s (5 Days Maximum)
- Supporting ISSOW process and adopt the role as permit acceptor as appropriate
- Coordination of team organisation of permits, materials, and manpower to eliminate non-productive time
- Monitoring and driving of productivity levels without any detriment to any Health and Safety requirements
- Planning and coordination of alternative access to improve productivity and minimise any manual handling risk
- Bilfinger Safety works – Engagement and compliance
- Coordination of subcontractors and vendors (Approved Cable Pulling Company’s)
- Lead and chair TJSA meetings as required
- Planning – Coordination of planning group for job preparation, creation of job cards and material status for all work fronts. Internal Bilfinger reviewer of job cards
- Specify materials and produce purchase requisitions
- ISSOW – Creation of L2 risk assessments
- Attend weekly progress meetings and provide planning status updates as required
- Scheduling – Schedule overview and input to coordinate work activities through client scheduler engagement
- Target cost work delivery – Coordination, focus and cost control
- Deputise for the Site manager
- Continuous Improvement – Demonstrate a pro-active approach to the role through the identification of improvement opportunities
- Quality Control – Coordinate the completion of quality project packs to include maintenance ITR’s and test sheets
- Quality review of completed quality packs
Experience / Qualifications
- Experience of work on a Top tier COMAH site (2+ Years Desirable)
- Supervisory experience
- Knowledge of DSEAR and ATEX Legislation
- Good reporting, planning, communication and workload management
- Experience in completion of risk assessments and ISSOW
- Ability to use Microsoft packages and SAP
- Trade discipline qualification (Essential)
- CompEx 01 – 04 (Essential)
- Line Management Qualification (Desirable)
- Safety Qualification: NEBOSH / ISOH / Managing Safely (Desirable)
- City & Guilds 2380 18th Edition (Desirable)
- City & Guilds 2391 (Desirable)
