As an Electrical Construction Technician, you will be responsible for installing electrical equipment in industrial environments. All installation work to be completed to British Standards and will adhere to Bilfinger and client Quality Assurance procedures.

 

Main responsibilities will be:

  • Ability to read and understand schematic and termination diagrams
  • Installing Electrical equipment in hazardous areas
  • Installation of various cable types (SWA, SWB, YY and trace heating)
  • Installation of unistrut and cable tray
  • Able to carry out dead tests and complete test sheets accurately
  • Able to carry out ITR’s using electronic tablets
  • Able to red line a drawing with as built installations
  • Follow site procedures and policies
  • Participation in daily briefings, point of work risk assessments and safe isolation procedures.
  • Ensure that quality and safety issues are reported to your supervisor 12/31/2022
