Be part of a small, elite group of highly experienced and motivated technicians who can be relied upon to act as champions and ambassadors for the delivery of NDT scopes across Europe and occasionally further afield. Undertake NDT Inspection work to the highest quality and safety standards, and in full accordance with Bilfinger Salamis procedures and standards.



  • Ensure all inspection operations are carried out with respect to health, safety, environmental and quality in accordance with the TMS and / or client management systems.
  • Undertake NDT activities activities as determined by the Operations Manager, Technical Manager, Project Manager or Project Engineer, local Team Leader/ Supervisor, client work pack, specification or other instruction
  • Translate NDT codes, standards, specifications, and procedures into NDT instructions adapted to the actual working conditions.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner, encouraging all team members to adhere to all necessary permits, risk assessments and safety procedures.
  • Ensure that all work is reported correctly in accordance with procedure or work pack requirements, through completion of NDT reports and to produce supporting evidence to those reports as per procedure.
  • Cross check and audit site NDT and Inspection work reporting any non-conformances and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Define and record the limitations of application of the testing method(s) and record.
  • Set up, function check and verify equipment settings as per company procedures and keep records.
  • Interpret and evaluate test results according to applicable standards, codes, specifications or procedures.
  • Carry out and supervise all tasks at or below Level 2.
  • Play an active part in supporting the team with a view to achieving agreed targets.
  • Report the results of NDT accurately using current versions of controlled documents.
  • Attend pre-mobilisation and de-mobilisation meetings as per requests from Project Team
  • Relevant experience in an engineering discipline, demonstrable experience using Microsoft Office & ERP systems.
  • Qualified and experienced in a minimum of 4 relevant NDT qualifications at Level 2 (ISO 9712) and BOSIET/FOET, OGUK, Medical, MIST
  • Minimum of IRATA Rope Access L1
  • PCN Level 2 Radiography (Inspection and Interpretation)
  • PCN Level 2 Eddy Current
  • Ability to write good quality NDT reports
