An Electrician has a range of practical experience and technical capability across all electrical disciplines.
You must be proficient in reading PID, schematic and electrical drawings and be competent in interpreting blueprints/specifications. You will be required to be competent in
the production of detailed drawings and sketches to assist the design team the production of drawings for fabrication/installation works.
You must be competent in measuring, fabrication of electrical enclosures, cable selection and termination and the installation and maintenance of electrical components.
You will play a key role in the investigation of faults on systems and circuits and be proficient in electrical testing/inspection and fault finding and rectification.
▪ Completed a Fully Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship
▪ NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation/
▪ JIB Registered Trade Card with Approved Electrician Grading or higher
▪ City And Guilds 2380 17TH or 18Th Edition Qualification
▪ City and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in Electrical Testing and Inspection (preferred)
▪ SC or DV Security Clearance preferred
