MAIN PURPOSE: |
The Project NDT Technical Manager is responsible for providing technical expertise, guidance and oversight for all NDT activities performed by the company as part of the project. This role ensures compliance with industrial standards, regulatory requirements and company procedures while driving innovation and continuous improvement in NDT techniques and technologies. The Project NDT Technical Manager will serve as the site based subject matter expert and provide technical support to internal teams, suppliers and external stakeholders.
This is a permanent position based onsite and the working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Experience
Industrial experience in the energy industry, with a focus on new-build and fabrication projects. Expertise in conventional NDT and Advanced NDT techniques, with a strong balance of practical execution and technical knowledge.
Qualifications and Training
ISO 9712 (PCN or equivalent) Level 2 & 3 in at least three NDT techniques, including one sub-surface methods RT and/or UT (Category welds). Where RT Level 2/3 is not held, RT Interpretation (Film) ISO 9712 (PCN or equivalent) Level 2 is required. Awareness of and experience working under the requirements of BS EN ISO/IEC 17020.
